The Havana Club Añejo 15 Años Gran Reserva rum is a blend of the best reserve rums, all of which have been aged in old white oak barrels for at least 15 years in the warm, humid and tropical climate of Cuba. These rum stocks are very limited and valuable, so that Havana Club Añejo 15 Años is only produced in small quantities: only about 58 barrels per year are bottled.

The name "Añejo 15 Años" means that the final blend is made with rum stocks that have been aged for at least 15 years. The unique aging process contributes to the development of truly distinctive flavors and aromas, providing an extra softness, the hallmark of this premium rum.

CATA'S NOTES:
Due to its distinctive character and elegance, Havana Club Añejo 15 Años is a shiny and full-bodied liquid, enhanced by an intense mahogany color. The aromas of raisins and plums stand out with some notes of oak. In the mouth it has a cascade of well integrated flavors of sweet fruit, chocolate, coffee, tobacco and spices with a soft texture.

The finish, a long finish in the sweet and complex mouth, with notes of vanilla and cocoa, confirms that Añejo 15 Años is a rum that has undergone a long natural process of aging.

AWARDS:
Havana Club Añejo 15 Años has received several awards that highlight the quality of its liquid. In 2012, the International Spirits Challenge awarded him with a gold medal; and in 2016 he was awarded two gold medals awarded by the International Spirits Challenge (London) and the World Spirits Competition (San Francisco), respectively.
